Environmentally Safe!!
American consumers are willing to pay more for packaging they consider
environmentally safe, according to a recent study. Marketing firm
Michael Peters Group says 78 percent of this nation's shoppers are willing to
pay extra for a product packaged with recyclable or biodegradable materials.
More than three-quarters of the 1,000 adults surveyed said their purchase
decisions are affected by a company's reputation on environmental issues
and nearly nine out of every ten respondents claimed environmental concerns
influence their purchases.
